I used to connect my PC-Display to my Laptop using the USB-C connection of my Lenovo Laptop. But suddenly that didn’t work anymore. After some googling i found a really useful tipp: downgrade your Lenovo BIOS … and that worked 
I have a dual Boot with Win 10 and in C:\Bios folder there was the privious BIOS that i could install … happy again.
Ok, i bought in vain a USB-A to USB-C Adapter, but i really like Adapters …
