Lenovo V14-IIL brightness keys not working, also an issue with charging

Lenovo v14 laptop

Im gonna be brief. when i first installed manjaro everything was working great. until 2 issues popped up: at first the 2 buttons which controlled screen brightness worked then stopped working on their own and serve no function when pressed. (unless you count them being function keys)
the other issue which also popped up randomly is that, the system now takes a while to recognize that the laptop is or isnt being charged, it would say “discharging” but still think its plugged in. this also popped up on its own with no settings being changed. even though it used to work fine.
these 2 issues have popped up about a day after installation. i tried switching kernels (6.1, 6.16 and im on 6.12)
Nothing changed. Any help would be appreciated

Update Announcements

The Update Announcements contain important information and a Known Issues and Solutions section that should generally be checked before posting a request for support.

Output of the inxi command (with appropriate parameters, and formatted according to forum guidelines) will generate information useful for those wishing to help:

Regards.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Unfortunately i cant post the return of the command because it has links. Even when i remove them it still says it has links.

You can if you format it correctly - my previous reply did have a link to: How to Post Command Output as Preformatted Test

Paste the inxi output into a reply, highlight all of the text, and click the </> button at the top of the edit box. That will format your output as code.

Alternatively, paste the output into a reply, and type 3 backticks (```) on blank lines before and after the inxi output.
