Lenovo Ideapad : battery conservation mode is broken

I noticed that battery conservation mode I set up on my Lenovo Ideapad 330-17IKB years ego with ideapad-cm stop working lately.
Even though I get “Battery conservation mode is currently enabled” when I run “ideapad-cm status” the battery charges to 100% instead of 50~60% when “battery conservation mode” working properly.

This is something I posted last year on a similar issue, though the utility I use for my Legion 5 seems a bit like what you are using. Perhaps worth a try to see if it works for you.

And this is what i use on a Lenovo v15 g2

Unfortunately the 3 scripts look pretty similar. All use ideapad_acpi, mine does not use acpi_call additionally, the other 2 do.

Maybe something changed in acpi_call or ideapad_acpi for older models.

The issue seemed to be fixed by last system update [Stable Update] 2023-10-04 - Kernels, Systemd, LibreOffice, NVIDIA, Mesa, GNOME, AMDVLK - #2 by philm
