Left mouse click is triggered only in half of the cases after latest upgrade

After latest Manjaro upgrade via pacman -Suy (on 2023-09-04) left mouse click in KDE Plasma is triggered only sometimes. And sometimes it does not have any effect. Drag and drop, text selection with left mouse button is impossible.
Right and middle mouse buttons seem to work as usual. Left click on touchpad works as usual.

events are emitted when the left mouse button is released, nothing happens when it is pressed. Right and middle buttons emit
