Latest Updates vs Themes

Hi all. I did updates a couple days ago and now have a few application windows that are no longer sharing the system theme. Can someone point me to the fix for this?

GNOME 42 has arrived! Gtk 4 theming and Libadwaita Unfortunately, there will be no custom theming available for Libadwaita applications. However, once the Libadwaita Recoloring API is implemented, we should be able to add Maia to the color palette. Thanks! I hadn’t read it. Guessing I’ll have to wait for it to get fixed. I’m not running gnome, so the tweaks tool in XFCE doesn’t have the options mentioned after installing and selecting the suggested theme.

If you’re not using GNOME

If you want to change the theme of Libadwaita applications on another Gtk desktop like Xfce or Cinnamon, you can use the following commands:

Light Adwaita theme:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface color-scheme default

Dark Adwaita theme:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface color-scheme prefer-dark

Hi,

I checked the announcement, but i am not sure to understand everything.
My system themes are “Dracula” or “Match-dark-azul” depending on my mood.

Could you please confirm i can’t have those themes for Libadwaita but only the ugly brown one ?
