Latest update broke Displays

After updating the system to the latest version of Manjaro, my external monitor got disconfigured. When I try to reconfigure it, going to System Settings > Display and Monitor > Displays, I get the following error message:

I tried to reinstall kdisplay and disman, but the problem persists.
Any idea on how to solve this issue?

did you try to uninstall those 2 modules, then reboot and see if that helped

Thank you @brahma for your reply.
I wanted to ask first, cause I didn’t know if it were safe to uninstalling them. But I’ll try it now.

since they are not installed by default, it should be safe…

@brahma I uninstalled those two modules, but now I simply don’t have access to the Displays configuration in System Settings. Which module should I install in order to have access to that?

were there any dependencies uninstalled with those 2 packages?

disman. The other one, kdisplay, is for use with the kwinft window manager, which is a fork of the official kwin and is non-standard.

I realised that kscreen has been uninstalled with the other two. I reinstalled it and everything is fine now.

I just reinstalled kscreen; disman is currently not installed but, apparently, everything is fine. Shall I leave it like this or would it be recommended to install disman as well?

disman is not installed by default, so there is no need to have it, since everyhting is working as it should

I switched kdisplay against kdisplay-kwinft package and that solved the problem for me
