Latest RT-Kernel doesn't boot with the first Power ON

Always starts with the second try, after a forced Power OFF and ON again. Old RT-Kernels didn’t boot at all. This is really mint blowing.

Any news?

linux63-rt is EOL … please update kernel to linux64-rt or lts kernel linux61-rt …

sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux64-rt
or
sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux61-rt

after reboot…remove linux63-rt with sudo mhwd-kernel -r linux63-rt

I wonder: why does it have to be a realtime kernel?

BIOS update is available - Beta 8.01 - 2023/4/18

should be checked as well

Already on RT-6.4 and it did it once per 5 boots, maybe fixed now. Also i remember from the old days that was a button during boot that exposed the boot sequence with letters instead of linux or asrcok logo, what was it?

The problem remains with RT.

I removed splash and quiet from kernel parameters in order to get visuals during boot and the problem magically solved. Something suspicious going on with the AMDGPU driver, the image stucks.
