Latest Gimp has no python-fu

Seems to be a common problem across various OSs
Since the latest Gimp 2.10 update, Python-fu is not showing in my filters menu
Nor are any python plugins showing
Was all working fine until this update …

I’ve installed python2-gimp from AUR following I don't have python-fu in GIMP
I’ve installed python2-gobject2 following a comment on AUR (en) - python2-gimp
I’ve re-installed gimp and restarted Manjaro

That’s all I’ve got

Works fine here, it takes me to Console, same as Script-Fu and i can chose whatever …

Is Gimp preferences pointing to /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins folder?

I had strange behaviour in preferences …
Two locations for the plugin folder are shown - one in /usr/lib/gimp/2.0 and one in ~/.config/gimp/2.10.
I can select either one, but my choice doesn’t register somehow … seems like I can’t set a location …

Anyway, I became tired of trying many many different things and found an appimage in AUR which is working OK for now. My old plugins are working in that version
