On a side note from above: Pop-Os uses kernel 5.16, Ubuntu uses 5.15 with their regular release. As you say you have the same issues with them I would exclude the kernel as a cause, unless you have used development snapshot releases. 
Something weird is my wifi card was working as expected in pop os, so, probably my issue started with 51.6 kernel version?, I don’t know, but for now, my laptop is running perfect with the 5.15.41.1.
