Laptop Camera Problem

Hi, I have been using Linux or Gnu/Linux(my friend said its Gnu/Linux idk?) for about a year now but im still an idiot and screw things up alot. Now lets get into the point of this forum post, my laptop camera keeps turning off itself and when I turn it back on it keeps turning back off or just black… or craches my computer.

Im not really sure is this just a zoom or google meet problem but both of them just works and then after a while the camera turns off and then they don’t work any more or just crash the laptop if I try turning it back on.

What I want to do =

  1. Camera doesn’t turn off by itself

  2. Works properly and will not show a black result

  3. Will not crash my laptop - this only happens on zoom

Why I want to fix this you ask, cause school holidays are coming to an end and Covid 19 cases are high ass hell, the Malaysian government is useless as ■■■■ so I need to fix it to have online classes. You ask why last year I don’t need to fix this?, because I was using Windows 7 and then upgraded to 10.
