Laptop ändert Bildschirmausrichtung wenn er vom Strom getrennt wird

Hallo,

ich hab hier eine alte XFCE-Manjaro-Installation, welche von mir vor etwa 1,5 Jahren auf GNOME-Shell umgestellt wurde.
Bis dato nie solche Probleme feststellen können.
Sobald ich den Laptop jetzt vom Strom trenne, dann ändert sich die “Rotation” vom Bildschirm, auch die Maus/Tochpad ist dann “falsch”.
Hab mal ein Bild zur Veranschaulichung angehängt.

Leider bleibt die Ausrichtung dann auch nach erneutem Stromanschluss so und der Laptop wird unbenutzbar.
Ist das irgend eine neue Einstellung für Tablets die man deaktivieren muss?

Hab den Grossteil der XFCE-Sachen deinstalliert. Bin mir gar nicht sicher, ob ich mich noch damit einloggen könnte…

In den Anzeige-Einstellungen von Gnome taucht zumindest nichts dergleichen auf.

Sorry, dachte du hast XFCE installiert und GNOME nebenher, falsch gelesen. Auf Anhieb würde mir nicht einfallen, was das verursachen könnte. Könnte gut sein, dass dein Laptop einen Touchscreen hat und deshalb als Tablet-Derivat erkannt wird?

Nein, ist kein Touchscreen
Mir gehen langsam auch die Ideen aus, warum das plötzlich auftritt. Und auch nur, wenn ich ihn vom Strom trenne im laufenden Betrieb.
Starten ohne Stromkabel funktioniert mit Akku wunderbar…

okay 2 dinge die mir auffallen, du nutzt nur die interne cpu-grafik aber deine nvidia karte ist gar nicht konfiguriert. wäre eine überlegung wert die mal zu nutzen damit solltest du noch ein bisschen mehr performance bekommen. das nächste ist wayland. das ist imho immer gut für bugs die niemand kennt und niemand erwartet. ich bin auf plasma und kann dir bei gnome da leider nicht helfen aber du solltest statt wayland mal x11 probieren. hoffentlich kann da jemand hier weitere anleitungen geben ob und wie man das macht.

sicher @megavolt ? ich weiß das man unter plasma das paket “plasma-wayland-session” installieren muss aber wie verhält es sich bei gnome ?
wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe kann man das in gnome in den systemeinstellungen ändern und nach dem neustart ist es dann aktiv.

Nö, da er keinen Nvidia Treiber installiert hat, wird Wayland nicht geblockt. Auf Gnome ist Wayland immer aktiv, wenn möglich: Standard. Man kann aber jederzeit wechseln beim Login.

Ja, der Button ist da. Dort kann ich auch zwischen Flatpak, Gnome, Xfce (alle als “normal” und “unter xorg”) auswählen. Egal was ich anklicke, einloggen kann ich mich nur mit der Auswahl Gnome…

Wenn du mit “xorg” nicht einloggen kannst, dann vermute ich mal, dass du bei der XFCE Säuberung auch xorg entfernt hast.

So genau weiß ich das jetzt gar nicht mehr. Hatte da irgend ne Anleitung aus dem Netz befolgt, da meine Boot-SSD etwas klein ist
Aber die SSD-Preise sind eh im Keller. Wird vielleicht mal Zeit für ne Größere und neu saubere Neuinstallation. Wobei mich da Tromjaro auch reizen würde so rein Optisch…

gute idee, vielleicht auch noch 8GB RAM dazu aber mehr als 40-50€uronen würde ich in das system dann auch nicht mehr stecken.

Laut MSI Webseite sind eh nur 128GB SSD und 1TB HDD unterstützt.
Ah dann lebe ich mit dem Fehler und installiere irgendwann neu sofern mir mal langweilig ist…
