KWallet and Google Chrome (unsolicited tabs)

Hi,

I’ve made a chrome-flags.conf file, because I want to use i3 DE alongside with KDE:

~ ᐅ cat .config/chrome-flags.conf <<<
# Google Chrome start.

--password-store=detect
# --password-store=kwallet5

My accounts, associated with Google Chrome, now work fine with both DEs. A minor annoyance has shown up: each time I start Google Chrome, I have three unsolicited tabs, in addition to the tabs from the previous session: https://google/ , https://chrome/ , and http://start./ . They even pile up in the next session. Is there a way to get rid of this?

I remember having had a similar thing happening to me in Chromium at some point.

Check The “On Startup” section of your browser’s preferences and see if those URLs are listed there. If they are, delete them.

Not my case. There’s nothing besides the three radio buttons there. Continue where you left off is the choice.

Are those three tabs pinned by any chance? If so, remove the pin.

They aren’t pinned.

Well, in that case I must yield. :slightly_frowning_face:

:man_shrugging:

The file doesn’t support comments. Remove them.

Thanks! Chromium only comments
