KVM freeze after passing my usb controller

I just purchased a pcie usb controller so that i could pass it to my vm, but when i do pass it the vm freeze on boot any idea how to fix this?

Have you installed the oracle guest extension?

Are you a member of the group vboxusers?

turns out that my usb controller did not like to be passed to a vm that is why it did not work i have been recommended another usb controller that my friend uses should be good.
