possibly remedied by using the xfce settings app

go to “Session and Startup” → the advanced tab
and check the “Launch KDE services on startup”

Konsole is a KDE program … and to have it/use it, you had to install pretty much all of KDE for it.
Just for a terminal app

It doesn’t help :frowning:
And actually I use dolphin file manager, it suits me the most, thats why using KDE app.

It was a possibility based upon the fact that Konsole is a KDE application.

I can’t suggest anything else because I do not know or use KDE - just some QT GUI apps (like Lyx, for example).
