at some point Klipper stopped working properly in that selected text is not copied - this happens with Firefox, Kate, Thunderbird, Okular, etc.
i checked for missing dependencies (were none) and reinstalled plasma-workspace
the exception is text which is copied (Ctrl+C) or selected in Konsole - that works fine
Did you exclude some Windows ?
You can check in the options : Configure → Action Menu → Exclude Windows
i did not - it looks like the items there are the default and includes, for ex., several mozilla/firefox items which i removed but that didn’t have any effect - also there’s nothing there for other programs where selections aren’t copied, such as kate, etc.
