Keymap early user space

Hi

I have an encrypted system and after the latest update the keymap at startup is set to (I guess) US. After teh actual bootprocess it is (correctly) set to DE. It is quite anoying to type the passwodt to unlock the disk with an US Keymap. So far I changed the following hooks in mkinitcpio.conf: plymouth-encrypt → encrypt
What else can I do?

My disk (except for /boot) is encrypted using LUKS; I use a non-US keyboard layout. Up until last Friday, I could unlock my disk using my preferred keyboard layout, but today I can’t and the keyboard uses US layout. What happened?
