Keyboard missing letters when typing

I’d like to start by saying that I don’t think this is in any way related to Manjaro, i was just hoping that someone might have an idea of what might be going wrong because its driving me in sane!

So, as per the title, my laptop will just randomly miss out keystrokes while I am typing, it seems like the faster I type the worse it is. I have tried playing around with the keyboard delay settings but it does not seem to make any difference.

Here is my inix output. I’m happy to provide more details if required

Hi @Rhaom,

Just a random thought, I have absolutely no idea if it’ll work or not, but I have to ask. Have you tried a different kernel version?

No, I haven’t, although it does look like there is a newer kernel version so i’ll give it a go

I’ve read the kernel versions make quite the difference with all kinds of hardware, so it’s a logical step, according to me. And also don’t limit yourself to newer versions. try older, supported versions as well, if the newer one doesn’t work for you.
