Kernels 5.18.7-1 and 5.19rc4-1 cannot boot

It looks like something with new IBT technology proposed by Intel, which prevent drivers like nvidia driver from loading.

As thread After updating kernel to 5.18.3, system fails to start - Support^[1] suggests, add ibt=off works. You might need to wait for a upstream rootfix, but currently, ibt=off might be the only way.

Until this is fixed, a workaround is disabling the Indirect Branch Tracking CPU security feature by setting the ibt=off kernel parameter from the bootloader. This security feature is responsible for mitigating a class of exploit techniques, but is deemed safe as a temporary stopgap solution
