Kernel 6.7 warning (experimental kernel yet)

On linux 6.7.0rc4-8 and linux 6.7.0rc5-1
journald warnings:

Dez 11 15:23:54 archlinux kernel: [drm] Fence fallback timer expired on ring sdma0
Dez 11 15:23:55 archlinux kernel: [drm] Fence fallback timer expired on ring sdma0

NOT on: linux 6.1 and linux 6.6 series…

Doesn’t seem to have any effect on stability - but…

The kernel is not stable yet.

66 is latest stable

$ journalctl -b0 -g Fence
-- No entries --

:person_shrugging:

Reason: mkinitcpio.conf

A. HOOKS=(base systemd autodetect modconf kms block keyboard sd-vconsole filesystems)
gives warning

B. HOOKS=(base systemd autodetect modconf block keyboard sd-vconsole filesystems)
no warning!
KMS is the cause / leads to a warning ==> Solved…
