I cant use the new kernel, after opening Virtual Box the computer simply freezes everything:
screen wont update. it wont go blank or ahything. just freezes and cant move mouse. sound keeps small infinite loop.

Please avoid for now the 5.8 kernel and use 5.7 as is more stable. Especially when comes about VBox.

yeah, I had to fallback to 5.7 and it is much more stable.
Hello, i’m solved the problem by adding “amd_iommu = on iommu = pt” as parameters passed to the kernel at boot time (grub).

That might work for your particular system, but will not work on mine, for example.
