With kernel 5.13.xx the WLAN connection works fine.

With kernel 5.14.xx, I can´t browse the Internet and receive Emails (Firefox and Thunderbird).

I just updated to 5.14 but i don’t have any issue yet  . You installed through the system settings , right ??

image

I have installed kernel 5.14 through system settings.

With kernel 5.14, the system reports: no devices found - sometimes.

Realtek Semiconductor RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter Also reports it’s not working on a bunch of distros.

I suggest to

  1. install Latest LTS Kernel.

Or

  1. take a snapshot > install Realtek firmware
    AUR (en) - realtek-firmware

or

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8821ce-dkms-git/

  1. take snapshot > try testing if it is an regression.

With kernel 5.10 the Realtek chip is not recognised. So I can´t test that.

Update:
the WLAN connection must be fully activated at the router, when the computer boots into desktop.
