Kein Wlan erkannt bei Vayo

Da ich dasselbe Problem bei einer Neuinstallation habe, frag ich, ob wir uns hier einklinken können.
Am 9.8. habe ich Manjaro KDE auf zwei Laptops installiert. Das waren ein älterer Thoshiba und ein nicht ganz so alter Sony Vayo. Die Geräte stehen gut 100 km weg, so dass ich nicht direkt zugreifen kann, bin also hier Vermittler.
Sony funzt aber das Vayo-Gerät macht beim WLAN nicht mit.

Das ist meist wenig sinnvoll, weil

  1. die Ursachen oft nicht die selben sind.
  2. Dann verschiedene Teilnehmer durcheinander reden

Für dich gilt übrigens die gleiche Empfehlung:

Ohne inxi -czv8 ist es meist unmöglich sinnvoll weiter zu helfen !

Die Sache mit dem WLAN.
Ich spule kurz etwas zurück, ob es aktuell hilfreich → eher nicht. Möglicherweise in der Zukunft.

Ob die Instalation über CD ist oder USB ist eigentlich egal, ich empfehle erstmal Stick (und das aber über Ventoy).
Nach dem sich das System beim ersten mal aufgebaut hat (ohne Instalation), dann erstelle ich die WLAN Verbindung. Danach installiere ich erst, das WLAN ist dann aber bereits angelegt beim Neustart.
Wenn es dann nach dem Neustart nicht mehr gehen würde, könnten wir über Treiber oder ähnliches reden (aber nicht mit mir, kenn mich da nicht so aus).
Wäre also Interessant wenn du in einer Live-Sitzung (Stick rein und starten) Netzwerk hättest und im installierten System nicht.
Die Profis hier arbeiten über das inxi , unbedingt machen wenn Ihr die Hilfe der Profis braucht.

Die Ausgaben für das Netzwerk sind für inxi -vc8 und aus dem Infozenrum identisch.

Dazu muss ich den Stick erst nach Potsdam schicken. ich überlege mir noch eine Alternative.
Es genügt übrigens schon, Manjaro live gestartet zu haben. Beim Öffnen der Netzwerkverbindung ist der Zustand schon zu erkennen. Aber wir schaffen das. Danke

wahrscheinlich einen noch älteren, denn ich hab eine Intel Karte drin - Treiber: iwlwifi)

Das hättest Du ja sicher gemerkt, wenn es sofort nicht (mehr) funktioniert hätte.

Auf Thoshiba läuft WLAN, Auf Sony/Vayo nicht, kann auch nicht aktiviert werden. Gleiches gilt auch für älteren getesteten WLAN-Stick.
Bitte mal bei Schreibfehlern nachsichtig sein: c und v liegen gleich nebeneinander.
Was wäre aus inxi -zv8 außer Angaben zur Netzwerkkarte denn noch wichtig?

Gegenfrage:
warum möchtest denn Du unbedingt nur einen Teil der ohnehin anonymisierten Ausgabe herzeigen - statt einfach die komplette?

… so daß sich jeder, der helfen will, aus dem ganzen ein Bild machen kann ohne u.U. nach mehr fragen zu müssen …
