PLEASE NOTE! I AM NEW TO THE FORUM if this is the wrong spot to place then please direct my accordingly.
I was using Manjaro Cinnamon
I have an nvidia GT-1030 Graphics card
My desktop is LENOVO THINK CENTER
I was using Kdenlive when suddenly it stopped working [ THE AUR VERSION FROM PAC MAN ]
I uninstalled then reinstalled via terminal [ same issue ]
then when I tried to RDD the kdenlive version I just installed via terminal it said KDENLIVE COULD NOT BE FOUND…so I have a version of Kdenlive now on my desktop I can’t get rid of I tried to re install KDENLIVE via pacman and even refreshed the database before attempting a reinstall…same issue…
any idea’s on how I can fix this?
Welcome to the forum!
kdenlive
is in the Manjaro extra repository.
Please see:
Stopped working as in it froze
and I had to force stop ot
Rdd is to uninstall without removing dependencies
and I ran the sudo pacman -Rdd kdenlive
and yes
$ -Qs kdenlive?
bash: -Qs: command not found

pacman
is a command — -Qs
is not.

We would like to announce the immediate availability of Kdenlive 23.04.0a fixing an issue where projects would fail to load under certain circumstances. We recommend all users to update.
Just in case, the command you have to run is:
pacman -Qs kdenlive
(No question mark either)
pacman -Qs kdenlive
local/kdenlive 22.12.3-1 (kde-applications kde-multimedia)
A non-linear video editor for Linux using the MLT video framework
Yes I thought I was on unstable but I was on Stable… I have switched over to unstable and I am currently upgrading
Re installing the arch repo version of Kden live now and I will let you know if I run into any more problems thank you
