Quick rundown of events:
Been using Manjaro KDE Plasma Desktop without issue for about 6 months.
Performed an update of drivers through Package Manager, after rebooting I only see a black screen.
Decide to do a fresh install using Proprietary Drivers, NVIDIA Graphics Card.
Everything appears to install fine, including using the Live USB with Proprietary Drivers, go to login to my new account and I am again greeted with a black screen with the Manjaro Hello window and mouse cursor.
Can open Firefox through the Manjaro Hello window, however no other GUI elements are visible, but can access TTY using CTRL + ALT + F3.
Reinstalled Manjaro again, this time using Open Source Drivers. Everything installs fine and I am able to login and access all GUI elements. However my entire PC is very laggy, video + audio not syncing and GUI elements freezing for several seconds.
I have attempted to manually remove and install NVIDIA drivers using the mhwd tool, essentially whenever the Proprietary Drivers are installed the GUI does not load.
Currently I have done a reinstall with Proprietary Drivers using a fresh Live USB with the Manjaro Vulcan 23.1.3 KDE Plasma Desktop ISO downloaded from here: Manjaro Downloads, and I am now using the Live USB for troubleshooting after running manjaro-chroot -a.
