I was wondering if anyone is using this version of Plasma with Manjaro? It comes as installed with Endeavouros, and I found a number of basic packages don’t seem to work, eg the Clipboard, which doesn’t save any text that’s copied. Also certain packages that install OK from the AUR using Plasma 6.3.6 do not compile with 6.5.2 .
As you can see, plasma 6.5 is in the testing and unstable branches.
I’m using 6.5.2 in the unstable branch. I just used the clipboard feature last night. It worked on my laptop.
That’s interesting to know.
With Endeavour, Clipboard would not save anything for me, whether running in Wayland or X11, where I would have expected it to work. This happened not only on trying it out on the installer, but after a full install of Endeavour, which I’ve now decided not to continue with.
Obviously a full install of Manjaro Plasma, possibly on Testing, is the very best option of all ![]()
Plasma 6.5.2, clipboard works fine for me both on Manjaro (unstable) in Virtualbox, and on CachyOS.
Is it possible Save history across desktop sessions for Clipboard history got unselected?
Unstable branch has 6.5.2 - works pleasantly well ![]()
All my previous cons about Plasma has slowly disappeared over the past years - starting with Plasma 6 alpha ![]()

Then those “certain packages” must be out of date as the AUR is for Arch and therefore the current version of Plasma.
Yeah, that’s not unexpected, as for example one package I use here has a dependency - boost-libs 1.88.0-3. Whereas in Endeavour, boost-libs 1.89.0-1 version was shown as installed. Not sure they’d work in Arch either as that package hasn’t been updated.
I made another installer for EOS, and now Clipboard.is working on Plasma 6.5.2 as normal. No idea why it did not work with the first iSO that I made.
