Greetings!
I wanted to try out Wayland on KDE Plasma 5 for my system, I did install and went to test it on the software I use. I have found some issues that I wasn’t sure if it is Wayland or my computer’s hardware being too weak for Wayland.
Here’s the specs of my machine:

Here are some of the issues I have found using Wayland that I never had on X:
-
When I go to log out, shutdown, restart, etc. the fullscreen blurred background would make my computer lag, this also applies to blurring the background in Konsole when transparency is enabled.
-
Scrolling on LibreOffice Writer (fresh version) is laggy.
These are the issues I have found for the few times I’ve tested Wayland on my laptop. If you do have any solutions to the problems I’ve encountered, let me know!
Or if none of these problems can be fixed or my laptop is too weak for Wayland, I’ll just switch back to X11 if that’s the best option for my system.
