KDE: losing USB stick after "Safe remove"

Hi,

After unmounting a stick with the Safely remove button I see only No devices available message. Unplugging and plugging back the stick makes no difference; only relogin helps.

  • Reboot

  • Note the exact time up to the second

  • Insert stick

  • Click safely remove stick

  • Remove stick

  • Plug stick back in

  • Note the exact time again.

  • Provide the relevant part of the following command:

    journalctl --system --boot=0 --priority=3

It’s an applet bug, actually. Inside Dolphin it all works perfectly.
