Once in a while the menu is blank, i.e. the search bar is there but the rest is a big black nothing. When I logout (typing in the seach bar still works) and login the menu shows all icons again.
My computer is on KDE 6.05 Wayland. I have searched the system log but do not know what to look for.

plasmashell The cached device pixel ratio value was stale on window update. Please file a QTBUG which explains how to reproduce.

This is commonly remedied by completely logging out of Plasma and then emptying ~/.cache from within a tty.
Thanks. Executed, we’ll wait and see! I will mark it as a solution although it is a work-around in my opinion.

It just happened again. I followed Aragorn’s advice, and I did not change default KDE settings.
Well, not really. For good measure, that should have been done before upgrading to Plasma 6.
