some weeks ago kde started freezing live wallpapers but I can continue using my graphical interface. If I try to change the screen configuration desktop freezes completely and I need to kill plasmashell with
killall plasmashell
and again start the process with
plasmashell
have you exprienced before this issue? Hope you can help me.

That said, I would like to know if you still have the issue? I had the same thing around the same time but I never found a solution… I quit looking after an update seemed to have “Cured” the issue… but things seem to have come full circle and the problem is back … again…
If you’ve figured anything out I’d appreciate it if you could share. I figured I’d ask before going down the rabbit again… or perhaps be lazy and just wait until a random update fixes it again. It seems as this, for me, is going to be like FireFox where every once in a while an update nukes it and I have to reset my FireFox config…
