Failure to update due to dependencies conflict

Use this command to install jdk-openjdk sudo pacman -Sy jdk-openjdk and then this command to update other repository packages: sudo pacman -Syu Or use Manjaro package manager pamac: pamac install jdk-openjdk --no-upgrade; pamac update --no-aur Problem with jdk and jre conflicting - #2 by nikgnomic @cscs pacman -Syu jdk-openjdk suggested by Philm in Known issues & solutions is not working for many users
