Jabra Evolve Headphone Hardware Mute not working

Hello everybody,
I use a Jabra Evolve2 65 headset with a microphone boom that usually can be muted by flipping it up. That does not work with my Manjaro currently, however. Is there any option / driver to make that work?

The headset otherwise works correctly - it is only the “hardware mute” that does not work - it is always “on”…

Thanks for your help,
Thorsten

I’ve got one of those here and it works just fine albeit with plasma rather than gnome.
There is a separate mute button on these devices, does that one not work either?

These things also have a voice saying “muted”/“unmuted” according to it’s state - you’re not getting that?

I have a similar headset. There are configuration options that can only be done with the Jabra Android (maybe iOS?) App.
You can turn on and off the voice outputs, volume levels, and maybe this hardware switch. I’m quite sure that it should work.

Hi - thanks for your reply. No - the buttons do not mute either and there is also no voice saying something. Connected to my cellphone, the voice is there and the mute works. Even with my former laptop running also Manjaro but with KDE desktop (?) the headset works fine…
