When I try to boot into Manjaro using Plymouth and systemd-boot
, my laptop monitor’s brightness would get lower, until I enter the correct LUKS encryption password. It is a minor issue since this issue only occurs when the user is at the LUKS password prompt.
I tried researching to solve this issue, only to get stuck on finding a solution. I tried editing my /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
file, only to end up with a TTY at the LUKS prompt. Furthermore, I had to roll back the changes I made to that mkinitcpio.conf
file. Now I am back at square one. How do I get the brightness of the plymouth
splash screen to match my desktop when I am logged in?
