Issues with gdal and arrow after update

After update:

gdalinfo
ERROR 1: libarrow.so.800: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ERROR 1: libarrow.so.800: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ERROR 1: libarrow.so.800: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ERROR 1: libarrow.so.800: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

When I install arrow package I got this:

Job 1, 'gdalinfo' terminated by signal SIGILL

You did reboot the system, right?

Yes, I’ve rebooted system

Maybe try again with:
sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu gdal arrow

I’ve investigated that and removing -DARROW_SIMD_LEVEL=AVX2 option from PKGBUILD fixes arrow.

I have the same error
How can we remove this option…
Instructions please
Andriu

looks like you’d need to rebuild a repository package (arrow)

like with all others:
get the PKGBUILD

svntogit-community/trunk at packages/arrow · archlinux/svntogit-community · GitHub

svntogit-community/PKGBUILD at packages/arrow · archlinux/svntogit-community · GitHub

edit it (to remove the line in question)
and (re)build it using
makepkg
