I have very weird issue since xorg-server got updated to 21.1.14-0
After playing any game for about 1-2 hours, whenever i move my mouse cursor fps drops heavily
Restarting game does solve the issue
I can confirm this. I am using KDE Plasma with X11.

Edit: same behavior with wayland
I haven’t got to test it yet but i think it’s actually this issue with Steam DXVK/VKD3D
If any of your games and/or dependencies; or Steam and supporting packages; were built from the AUR, they probably require rebuilding; just as most AUR sourced apps do, especially after a major component update of Xorg, for example.
Good luck.
My Steam install is from the official Multilib repo, but I’ll try the workaround mentioned on Github when I get some time to play in the next few days
System infos could help:
inxi --admin --verbosity=5 --filter --no-host --width
Btw. Im experience no problems around gaming with my nvidia 2080Ti, LTS Kernel 6.6 and KDE/X11.
Maybe check for memory leak with htop.
