Issue accessing external hard drive connected to router

I am trying to access an external hard drive connected to a router in my home via Thunar, and get the error message
“Failed to open “File System”. Failed to retrieve share list from server. Software caused connection abort.”

I tried accessing it by typing smb://x.x.x.x into the address bar of Thunar.
I have cifs-utils, samba-client, thunar-shares-plugin-manjaro, gvfs-smb, and manjaro-settings-samba installed.
Any ideas how to resolve this? Thanks.

Thanks. Looks like setting my [Global] client min protocol = NT1 in my smb.conf file fixed the issue.
