Is this printer [HP LASERJET M110W] hard to use on manjaro?

hello
when i’ve been on ubuntu it worked as a plug and play.
on manjaro i’ve tried to add the printer but it didn’t printed a test page.

i’ve tried to find solutions but there are many options and i don’t know what exactly is needed and if it may be pretty complicated to use the solution…

can you assist a bit in telling me what do i need?

tnx and love from israel

I don’i know what you tried, but:

i’ve tried the link that you sent here. but when typing
pamac build hplip-plugin
in the terminal i got…

Failed to read AUR data from /var/lib/pacman/sync/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz : Error opening file /var/lib/pacman/sync/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz: No such file or directory
Failed to read AUR data from /var/lib/pacman/sync/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz : Error opening file /var/lib/pacman/sync/packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz: No such file or directory
Error: target not found: hplip-plugin

is that means i first need to read this… Arch User Repository - Manjaro
?
if yes i will do it…

i haven’t read how to use AUR until now because i found the repositories of arch satisfactory to the packages i needed.

tnx

Mod Edit: Fixed formatting.

hplip is available in the extra repository and that might be all you need, which can be installed for instance by something like

sudo pacman -Syu hplip
