Is this powertop error normal?

Every time i run powertop i see this “error” message. Is it normal to have one of these?
I also running auto-cpu-freq as a systemd service.

EDIT:
I ran calibrate 3 times and nothing changed.

Normal. Run powertop --calibrate and leave it running for some time and then try again.

See Powertop - ArchWiki

I did it like 3 times, i left the laptop running about 10-20 mins.
When i “calibrate” the screen locks and i don’t even know i should unlock it or not. Should I close background apps while calibrating?

Note: Calibration will toggle various functions like backlight or wifi. Thus, it may turn your screen black for some time, lose your connection, and so on. Do not touch the machine during the calibration.

See the archwiki guide linked above.

Just going to mention that you should rarely-if-ever automatically blanket apply all powertop suggestions.
Thats what they are - suggestions. It is useful to look at them and apply them if you feel it necessary … but I dont recommend using it any other way.

You mean I should not mess with powertop?

Mess with it all you want.

I just mean that its just about never the ‘best’ idea to mass-apply everything from powertop.
(ex: --auto-tune)

--calibrate on the other hand should be fine … all it does is try to ‘update’ values to give a more accurate measurement.
