Is there a way to show Picture-in-Picture videos over games in Plasma?

Does anyone here know if there’s a way to show PIP videos over games in Plasma? I have seen that most people seem to agree that the only way is to use windowed borderless in the settings, (I tried to give examples here but it said I couldn’t put links in my post). Not only is that not working for me, but in LM Cinnamon I could overlay PIP videos even over fullscreen apps just fine. Is there any way to explain it working in LM, bring that feature over to KDE, or get windowed borderless working at least?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have the compositor enabled, then one of the built-in desktop effects in Plasma is “Thumbnails Aside”. It’s not enabled by default, but you can enable it in System Settings. :arrow_down:

Workspace → Workspace Behavior → Desktop Effects
