Is there a way to define another Virtual Keyboard in the sddm.conf file?

Hi everybody,

as Qtvkbd virtual keyboard works very well on Wayland and Xorg, I would like to use it on the login screen.
I tried to define qtvkbd in the InputMethod line of the sddm.conf file. unfortunately, it is not taken into account. It seems that qtvirtualkeyboard is only take in account on the login screen (choice offered in the lower left corner).

Is there a way to define another Virtual Keyboard in sddm.conf file ?
I would like to use Qtvkbd as the default Virtual Keyboard in the login and lock screen.

Thanks.

did you edit /etc/sddm.conf
or you change it in /etc/sddm.conf.d/virtualkeyboard.conf?

manjaro set it in the latter one then will override your config in /etc/sddm.conf

as lock screen is a different thing… (a plasma thing) you may need to search how to change the virtual keyboard for it.

Yes. I defined qtvkbd in the InputMethod line but it doesn’t work. Only qtvirtualkeyboard works, but it is for the default virtual keyboard (qt5-virtualkeyboard).
