Is it safe to replace iptables with iptables-nft?

I am trying out Virt-manager and installing it from my terminal Konsole (bash).
I initially typed in sudo pacman -S qemu virt-manager ebtables. I am then told I have a conflict with iptables and iptables_ntf. I am asked if I want to replace the former with the later.
Is it safe to do this, or am I risking my system?
If I do the replacement, is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks so much.

  1. Yes, it’s safe.
  2. No, you don’t have to do anything else.

Thank you so much, zbe. Both your answers, and the article were excellent.
Problem solved :grinning:
