Is it risky to remove stuff from ~/.cache/bazel/_bazel_<username>?

preparing rsync backups (looking at what not to include) I stumbled over a quite large ~/.cache dir where a subirectory ~/.cache/bazel/_bazel_<username>.

I learned bazel is a build tool (I guess Manjaro will be making use of). As I had quite some occasions lately where AUR packages did not build to cpmpletion and I could imagine those are leftovers from those attempts.

So, now I am wondering whether it is safe to remove stuff from there without risking major disturbances.

is it?

Yes it is (safe).
Nothing in ~/.cache is essential - it is a … cache.
