I had a fully functional system for months until the wifi jusr stopped showing up, in the connections list the connection is still there just not able to connect. I also tried booting into arch and my network device was no longer there.
Rfkill only brings up a bluetooth device
I would appreciate any help
Sorry how will i post with no internet
It has 3 outputs lo enp14s0 and virbr0
If you have an Android phone
but not a good enough mobile data plan
- disable mobile data
- connect the phone to your wifi
- and then connect the phone via USB tethering (USB cable)
to your PC
that way you will have a working internet connection without using mobile data
and can post whatever is needed
inxi -Fazy
for example
It’ll be just like the wifi on your PC would still work …
I have it connected how is it supposed to allow internet
… not enough information -
do you not know what USB tethering is or how to use the phone’s internet connection?
If you connect the phone via WiFi to your router - just as your PC apparently used to do,
then this connection will be available to the phone and then to your PC.
sorry figured it out was a setting on the phone

There is no wireless interface - which is of course what you already said.

You haven’t updated your system for a while, it seems. That certainly doesn’t help. As @Nachlese will no doubt tell you, the 6.5 kernel has reached EOL.
Your first move should probably be to install the latest kernel 6.6 iteration. No doubt this will be slower on WiFi, however, you may see better results.
That is all.
There is no driver for your wireless device, that is why it doesn’t show up.
Did you recently run an update or use a different kernel than you did before?
I’d advise to run a full system update and have at least two recent kernels installed - one of them LTS
so that you can switch and choose in case a new one causes problems.
Says i am up to date in terms of the system but I will try a newer kernel, the other kernels I currently have installed also have this issue.
In that case it would be good to know when it was that it stopped working - and use that kernel version where it was working - for now.
If you still have it.
Linux 6.5 is EOL and will be removed from the repo.
If you use Linux 6.5 and Nvidia or as virtual machine, it is of great importance, that you install Linux 6.6 to avoid driver problems.
sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux66
Broken Wifi with 6.1.66 and 6.6.5 kernels.
Note: the latest 6.6 iterations solve the majority of these issues.

Stopped working earlier today
… without you changing anyting?
Then I’d assume that the thing physically / electrically “broke” - or that the card’s connection came lose (if it is a separate card).
Apologies after a system update
Since I’m not on Manjaro myself right now
others are in a way better position than me to help you along further.
I have arrived at the limits of my knowledge and capabilities here …
Cheers!
Which other kernels are installed?
