I have the exact same issue, it looks like. Immediately after applying the latest Manjaro update, my Wifi adapter is no longer detected: iw dev and iw list show nothing. However, hwinfo does include:
29: PCI 700.0: 0280 Network controller

Driver Info #0:
Driver Status: iwlwifi is active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe iwlwifi"
Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown

So it looks like we lost the Wifi adapter over the same update. The only difference is that I didnt upgrade to Kernel 6.13 yet, being on the last 6.12 release for stable.

So what info could we provide to further investigate the missing intel wireless driver?

So… I did a litlle more digging case I would realy like to get a handle on this without reverting to a complete backup/reinstall… But oth, this is my daily driver and cant do without it too much longer.
That being said, this is what my journalctl error says:
journalctl -p 3 -xb
feb 14 21:04:25 clevobuntu kernel: i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* Failed to read source OUI feb 14 21:04:26 clevobuntu kernel: iwlwifi 0000:07:00.0: no suitable firmware found! feb 14 21:04:26 clevobuntu kernel: iwlwifi 0000:07:00.0: iwlwifi-cc-a0-77 is required feb 14 21:04:26 clevobuntu kernel: iwlwifi 0000:07:00.0: check git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git feb 14 21:04:27 clevobuntu kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Failed to load Intel firmware file intel/ibt-20-1-3.sfi (-2)
Also in the GUI, through Manjaro Settings Manager → Hardware Configuration panel, the hardware of the Intel AX200 is shown, but no drivers are toggled (indeed the toggle box doenst even show for that device. The auto Install Open-Source Drivers button does nothing to change this.
Furthermore, if I understand correctly, iwlwifi drivers should be in
/usr/lib/firmware
But I don’t see any iwlwifi files in that folder at all…
Any help is appreciated, as always
thnks, Mat
It should be in lib/firmware.
iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: loaded firmware version 77.b405f9d4.0 cc-a0-77.ucode op_mode iwlmvm
If it isn’t for some odd reason, a quick and dirty fix is download linux-firmware from the manjaro repository (core) or grab from your cache, extract the .zst file and copy
iwlwifi-cc-a0-77.ucode to lib/firmware , then reboot.
It should work. To check if it loaded:
sudo journalctl -k | grep iwlwifi

That totally worked! thank you very much

/lib
should be a symlink to /usr/lib
and /usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-cc-a0-77.ucode
is provided by linux-firmware
.
It would be interesting to know how yours is not there.
