Installing updates breaks dependency

Trying to update but having trouble getting around this-

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing libvpx (1.11.0-1) breaks dependency 'libvpx.so=6-64' required by ffmpeg3.4
:: installing x264 (3:0.163.r3060.5db6aa6-1) breaks dependency 'libx264.so=161-64' required by ffmpeg3.4

Any help would be appreciated.

From what I can see these packages are in the extra repository.

… Is it ?

(notice that is a whole package name … it is not ffmpeg or ffmpeg version 3.4 … well it is … but the package is literally ffmpeg3.4, which is not in the repositories)

Sorry you are right ffmpeg3.4 is installed as a dependency of megasync.
The extra package is just called ffmpeg
