Installing manjaro on raid1

I’m trying to install manjaro on a raid1 configuration for the root and use a 4GB thumb stick as /boot/efi, which is marked as boot. I manually created the array as md0 and the installation went well but when rebooting I land in the rootfs terminal.
Can someone point me out what am I doing wrong with installing manjaro?

I don’t know why it happens.
But why use RAID 1 for the system? It makes sense using it only for data for redundancy.

I simply want my system to be redundant.

You may be surprised, when your system refuses to boot because of a downgraded raid

the harddisks are fine. There is nothing wrong with them…
