Installed wayland on an nvidia-intel HD notebook and... black screen

Notebook with a RTX 3070 and an i7-11800H, Manjaro KDE (dual boot with Windows 10).

I’ve been having problems with a rather slow display 2560×1440, even after changing to NVIDIA mode on Optimus Manager (Qt). So I decided to give wayland a shot. I ran the following line and then reset.

pacman -S plasma-wayland-session

Now, the system exhibits the usual boot messages (I removed quiet from GRUB) and then I get a black screen instead of SDDM. No cursor. Alt+F1, Alt+F2, Alt+F3 does seemingly nothing.

Pressing the power button gives the shutdown messages after a couple of seconds and the machines shuts down gracefully.

Any clue of what have happened or how to solve?

it’s well known that wayland doesn’t play well with nvidia. some search in advance had been useful to prevent this.
