Hi, welcome to Manjaro! I believe your issue with Steam may be due to the recent update to Freetype2; see Stable Update New Issues. Your Wine installation and deleting of files may just be coincidental. I recommend you have a look and see if running Steam-Native or switching to the Steam beta fixes the issue with Steam for you.
