Installation of kernel headers

Hi I can’t realign the kernel headers. Previously, I did this with sudo pacman -S linux-headers as per the tutorial and so far there were no problems until I switched to kernel 5.18.

here are the results of executing the command

Ufamy, że lokalny administrator udzielił odpowiedniego szkolenia.
Zwykle sprowadza się ono do tych trzech rzeczy:

    1) należy respektować prywatność innych,
    2) należy myśleć przed pisaniem,
    3) z dużą władzą wiąże się duża odpowiedzialność.

It looks ok - I can’t read polish?

I’d recommend - when posting terminal output to an english speaking forum - force english messages from the command

LANG=C command-to-execute

And - unless your system is up-to-date - always use -Syu to avoid partial sync.

Hi @Maciek,

I can’t read it either. So this:

But I’m presuming you want to install the headers for your kernels. Do so with this command:

pamac install $(pamac list --quiet --installed | grep "^linux[0-9]*[-rt]*$" | awk '{print $1"-headers"}' ORS=' ')

This will install the headers for all installed kernels.

Sorry. writes for the first time in an English-speaking forum. When installing NVIDIA 340.108 patches, an error pops up that prevents me from installing the driver.

No problem. You should add your language to the post tags. N.V.M. - I think I just did.

This isn’t the way to install the nvidia drivers. You should install the official ones with mhwd or, failing that, use the AUR. And since it is a legacy driver, look in the AUR:

$ pamac search nvidia
[...]
nvidia-340xx-dkms                                                                                                                                                                                                        340.108-30               AUR
NVIDIA driver sources for linux, 340xx legacy branch
[...]

And that one can then be installed using:

pamac build nvidia-340xx-dkms

Please note:

I have no idea if this’ll work for kernel 5.15 that you seem to have installed. So I take NO, nadda, 0 responsibility if something goes wrong.

thanks everyone for help, we managed to fix the problem and install the drivers successfully!
