hi
I want to install gtk widget factory on manjaro. I used sudo pacman -S gtk3-widget-factory
but I get error: target not found: gtk3-widget-factory
I think that gtk3-widget-factory
is part of t Gtk3, which means that you probably have it already installed in your system.
Just open a terminal and run gtk3-widget-factory
.
thanks bill. launched it successfully via terminal. but, one question, Why I don’t see gtk3-widget-factory Icon in my application menu? like firefox, mesepad etc, I should see gtk factory icon in my application list, but it isn’t there
also I could not maximize gtk-widget-factory, the maximize button doesn’t work ( close and minimize button work, but maximize doesn’t)
Because the destkop file is set to NoDisplay=true
.
Copy the desktop file to user space and remove that line:
cp /usr/share/applications/gtk3-widget-factory.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/
sed -i '/NoDisplay/d' ~/.local/share/applications/gtk3-widget-factory.desktop
Thanks Yochanan
