Install google chrome

Trying to install the Google Chrome browser. I enabled AUR in Pamac, and enabled AUR updates, and refreshed databases, but I can’t get it to show.
I also ran
sudo pacman -Syyu
and it still doesn’t show. I am using worldwide mirrors.
Couldn’t get it from YAY either, it didn’t show the stable version.

search for google-chrome it is in the AUR. I would never install that spyware but hey each his own

chromium is the open-source version of google-chrome and is available from the regular repository. In addition to that, there’s also an ungoogled-chromium in the AUR. :wink:

Trying to do that by git, but:

Open the pamac-GUI and search for google-chrome if you have the AUR enabled like you say it should be there.

Or install yay > sudo pacman -Syyu yay and then yay google-chrome

I tried both of the above, but there is a certificate issue here that needs to be addressed.
I am getting errors such as;
certificate signed by unknown authority
Unacceptable TLS certificate

Not recommended, but you could try… :arrow_down:

YAY doesn’t accept that argument

That is bad. It should show you multiple packages in the AUR.

What is your out put of: yay -Syyu
